Touring Club Schweiz (TCS) is Switzerland's leading mobility organization dedicated to ensuring that its members have a safe and pleasant travel experience.

We offer each year two independent internship positions (6months) addressing different strategic innovation topics at TCS. The internships are designed for students currently enrolled in a Master programs and completing their final Master’s thesis as part of their studies.

Internship opportunities

1. AI Video Sales & Onboarding Avatar (Home Security)

Build a smart AI avatar that helps customers understand and install home security systems.

What you’ll do:

• Design an AI-powered video assistant for sales and onboarding 

• Guide users in analyzing their home security needs 

• Create an interactive installation assistant 

• Build and test a working prototype (MVP / POC Proof of Concept)

Focus areas:

Generative AI, avatars, UX/UI, computer vision, real-world product design

Your key challenges will include:

2. Digital Identity & Trust (eID / SSI)

Help redefine trust in digital customer interactions.

What you’ll do:

• Explore how digital identity (eID, SSI, Verifiable Credentials) can improve trust

• Identify key use cases across TCS touchpoints (call center, physical, digital)

• Build a Proof of Concept using the Swiss “Swiyu” infrastructure

Focus areas:

Digital identity, blockchain/DLT, security, product innovation

3. AI Knowledge Graph & Reasoning Agent

Turn TCS knowledge into an intelligent AI system.

What you’ll do:

• Structure internal knowledge (documents, reports, expertise)

• Build a knowledge graph

• Develop an AI assistant POC Proof of Concept that provides explainable answers

• Compare classic RAG vs. advanced reasoning approaches

Focus areas:

LLMs, NLP, knowledge graphs, AI systems

4. AI-Based Video Analysis for Driving Training

Create automated, personalized driving videos using AI.

What you’ll do:

• Detect vehicles and license plates in training videos 

• Automatically generate personalized driving clips 

• Design a simple user access flow (e.g. email + plate) 

• Evaluate camera and system setup (tech + cost)

• Build the POC Proof of Concept on one site

Computer vision, video AI, product design, automation
