A visit to Thun's old town is highly recommended, and the city bus will take you directly from the campsite to the city centre.

The SwissTubes module hotel
is located right on the beautiful shore of Lake Thun and looks out over a
magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains.
SwissTubes were originally
developed by young entrepreneurs from the Thun Chamber of Commerce for Expo
2002 and built for the Arteplage.
The breathtaking location
beside Lake Thun, not to mention its novel architecture, makes the unique
modular hotel an attractive place to stay. Each of the five SwissTubes is a
separate, self-contained living space. SwissTubes appeals to a diverse,
budget-conscious audience of all ages, from school groups to the adventurous,
to people seeking peace and quiet – anyone who appreciates the unusual
accommodation with no lack of comfort.
SwissTubes offers a choice
of 4-, 6- and 8-bed rooms. All rooms are non-smoking and offer roughly 30m² of
space. In the entrance area, guests can use the luggage rack and a coat rack to
stow their belongings. In the cool transitional season, the room temperature
can be adjusted. The bathroom area with its shower and toilet is functionally
furnished; towels are provided.

refurbishment and modernisation, Restaurant Thunersee presents itself in a new
look and now features a pleasant, spacious terrace – a new gathering place for
camping guests and locals alike! Look forward to the new Seebistro Thunersee
with its attractive restaurant concept.

Gas: the following Vitogaz bottles can be bought at the campsite: 5kg / 7.5kg / 10kg and 10.5kg (Deposit per bottle: CHF 55.00 / 65.00. No deposit will be charged if an empty bottle is returned)
