Information about your stay with TCS Camping

Availability

Which pitches or glamping accommodations are available last minute?

Please book online. The availability on our website is always up to date.

Are there any glamping accommodations with their own sanitary facilities?

Yes, we offer a variety of glamping accommodations with a private shower and/or toilet and kitchen. You can find more information here.

Are there any seasonal pitches available and where can I reserve one?

TCS Camping is no longer offering new seasonal pitches until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Booking

Can I book multiple stays at the same time online? How?

Our online booking system works like a standard online shop: you can add stays to your shopping cart, edit them there, and delete them again as needed.

Why can’t I choose a specific pitch when I book online? Can I select the pitch number?

As a rule, guests are not able to select their pitch number. If you have a favourite pitch or have any other requests in terms of location, please let us know in the Comments field when you book online. We will always do our best to accommodate your wishes.

I can't book online because I don’t have a credit card – what should I do?

Please send your booking request via e-mail to camping.(name of the camping)@tcs.ch. Please note that bookings completed via e-mail take a bit more time, and that online bookings have priority.

Do I need to reserve a pitch or can I simply drop by?

We recommend reserving in advance, especially during high season and on weekends. However, it is possible for you to camp without a reservation, provided there are still pitches available.

Are there any booking fees?

No, we do not charge booking fees.

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Yes, a deposit of CHF 200 is due when you book.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can find our General Terms and Conditions, including our cancellation policy here.

Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum stays apply for our rented accommodations in high season and on holidays. You find the list on the campings website.

Camping Card International

Why do I need to reorder my Camping Card International every year?

Since this card can be used as a form of ID, we require a copy of your current ID or your current passport. This is why the Camping Card International needs to be reordered every year after it expires – it allows us to guarantee that the information on the card is up to date.

Can I order the card online?

You can order the Camping Card International here.

I can’t order the card online. Who should I contact?

Please send an e-mail to camping@tcs.ch with the following information:

  • TCS Camping membership number
  • Your ID or passport number
  • The date of issue of your ID or passport
  • The issuing authority of your ID or passport
  • Your place of birth (not place of residence)

Opening times

When is Reception open?

You can find the opening times on the individual websites of each TCS campsite.

What should I do if I arrive outside of the opening times?

Please contact the corresponding campsite during the opening times.

Check-in/Check-out

What are the earliest and latest times that I can check in/check out?

  • We will hold your pitch for you until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Should you plan on arriving later than 6:00 p.m., please contact the TCS campsite directly. 
  • Check-out for pitches is no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure (Camping Lucerne-Horw: 11:00 a.m.). 
  • The earliest arrival for rented accommodations is 2:00 p.m., check-out is at 10:00 a.m.

Is it possible for me to check out later?

Late check-out until 6:00 p.m. is available for TCS Camping members in the low season. You can find more information here.  Depending on availability, you can also request an extension directly at the campsite.

Dogs

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, up to two dogs per installation are allowed at all of our campsites. Dogs are allowed in rental accommodations on request only.

Vouchers

I don’t have a credit card or I was unable to complete my voucher order online. What can I do?

Send us an e-mail at camping@tcs.ch with the following information:

Voucher amount

Recipient:

  • Last name, first name
  • Your message (optional)

Delivery and invoice:

  • Last name, first name
  • Street address
  • Postcode town/city
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth

Once we receive your e-mail, we will be happy to check whether we can send out your voucher on account.

Food and shopping

Is there food available at the campsites? Is there a restaurant or a shop?

Most TCS campsites have a restaurant and/or a shop. You can find more information on the individual websites.

What does a camping membership cost and what are the benefits?

As a Camping Club member, you can enjoy attractive benefits. The annual fee is CHF 60, provided that you are a TCS member. You can find the complete overview here.

Stop&Go

I saw that there is a Stop & Go offer for CHF 25. What are the conditions?

Campers who arrive after 6:00 p.m. and depart before 9:00 a.m. can take advantage of our Stop & Go offer depending on availability. The price of CHF 25 includes a pitch for two people and electricity. No advance reservation required. Find out more here.
