03.04.2024 - 75th anniversary of TCS Camping
A camping trip from then to now. TCS Camping has an eventful history behind it and looks to the future with confidence.
21.02.2024 - New alpine campsite in Ticino: TCS Camping Olivone
The Touring Club Switzerland and the municipality of Blenio have decided to jointly operate the new Olivone campsite in Ticino. Construction of the campsite is in full swing. Once the work is complete, the campsite will have pitches, rental accommodation in the form of bungalows and all the basic services you would expect from a campsite. The opening is planned for early autumn 2024.
01.01.2024 - Welcome to TCS Camping Estavayer La Nouvelle Plage
The TCS camping family continues to grow! We are very pleased to welcome TCS Camping Estavayer La Nouvelle Plage as a new member of the TCS camping family from 28 March 2024, just in time for the start of the 2024 season.
01.01.2024 - Last season for TCS Camping Gampelen Lake Neuchâtel
On 6 October 2024, TCS Camping Gampelen will close its doors for good and operations will definitely cease, which we very much regret! The camping site in the Fanel nature reserve is to be renaturalised. This is what the Swiss Federal Commission for the Protection of Nature and Cultural Heritage (ENHK) wants. Enjoy a few more wonderful days on Lake Neuchâtel.

08.11.2023 - TCS invests in camping platform pincamp.ch
The mobility clubs ADAC, ANWB and Touring Club Switzerland are making PiNCAMP by ADAC the leading European camping platform. They are investing in the joint camping platform PiNCAMP and are thus joining forces to expand their digital camping activities.
19.10.2023 - Winter Experience Glamping Moitié/Moitié at the TCS Camping Solothurn
The package includes 2 nights in a heatable cabane (bed linen incl.), 1 x fondue dinner for 2 persons in the restaurant Pier11 and 1 x yurt sauna at an all-inclusive price: CHF 290.- for 2 persons (excl. taxes).
15.10.2023 - TCS Camping Zug is permanently closed
After 69 years as part of the TCS Camping family, TCS Camping Zug will close its doors for good on 14 October 2023. The town of Zug wishes to use the site for other purposes. Don't hesitate to discover our other TCS campsites: your new favourite campsite is waiting for you!
01.10.2023 - Services for mountain bikers
TCS Camping Sion and Scuol now offer additional facilities that especially cater to the needs of mountain bikers: lockable bike room, bike cleaning station with repair kit, shower facilities can be used on day of departure, laundry for sportswear (self-service) and much more.

13.03.2023 - Two barrier-free bungalows at TCS Camping Sion
Together with the Cerebral Foundation, we are making it possible for people with mobility impairments to enjoy carefree camping holidays in barrier-free bungalows at TCS campsites. The offer will be supplemented with two further bungalows at the TCS campsite in Sion, bookable from approx. 1 July 2023.

At the annual ADAC Gala, held on friday, 13 January 2023, in Stuttgart, the TCS Pop-Up Glamping Village was awarded the ADAC Camping Award, which is considered the Oscar of the camping industry, in the category "Innovation and Progress". We are very proud and happy that our heart project is so well received.

TCS Camping Gwatt Thunersee was awarded as the best 4-star campsite in the Bernese Oberland at the Suisse Caravan Salon 2022 in Bern by Swisscamps, the Association of Swiss Campsites.
11.10.2022 - The season at TCS Camping comes to an end on 23rd October 2022.
These 6 TCS campsites are also open during the winter months and look forward to your visit: TCS Campings: Flims, Lugano-Muzzano, Samedan, Scuol, Sion and Solothurn.
On 1 April 2023, all campings will start in the new season.

08.07.2022 - For one week, General Director Jürg Wittwer steers the fortunes of the TCS from his Mercedes Sprinter.
Folding chair instead of office chair, "tenue légère" instead of tie: In the midst of campers indulging in the carefree life, Jürg Wittwer sits in front of his laptop and speaks intently into his headset. For once, the general manager is not chairing the executive board meeting on the premises of the Touring Club, but in his van at TCS Camping Gordevio.

01.07.2022 - TCS Camping gets a new addition - TCS Camping Flims
On 1 July 2022, Camping Flims will join the TCS camping family. Situated above the Rhine Gorge and close to Lake Cauma, the all-year-round site is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking and ski tours. It borders directly on the Flims sports centre with a high ropes course, inline skating facilities, tennis courts and other sports facilities.

02.02.2022- TCS Pop-Up Glamping Laax, only for a short time!
The TCS is back this summer with the pop-up glamping village above Laax. From the end of June to mid-September, the cosy and comfortably furnished cotton tents will be pitched on Alp Nagens, 2,000 metres above sea level. The site impresses with its location in the immediate vicinity of the reservoir and the breathtaking view of the Grisons mountain panorama.
18.01.2022 - TCS Camping Scuol and TCS Camping Solothurn: guest tickets included
Since 1 January 2022, the guest ticket in Scuol and Solothurn is included for camping guests. This allows you to travel free of charge on public transport. One more reason to discover the diverse regions around the Aare and in the Engadine. The two campsites are also open in winter.

TCS Camping Lugano-Muzzano wins the award for best 4-star campsite in Ticino and TCS Camping Gordevio for best 3-star campsite. The swisscamps association now annually awards the best 3-, 4- and 5-star campsite by tourist region. The campsites are judged on location, infrastructure, sanitary services, service and management. 02.02.2021 - TCS Camping Flaach am Rhein, Third generation takes the helm
Corinne Gisler, the daughter of long-time campsite manager Peter Gisler, will take over the helm of TCS Camping Flaach from 1.4.2021, already the third generation. Find out more about the Gisler family and the moving history of the very first TCS campsite, which opened in 1949.
