The TCS Camping La Tène Lac de Neuchâtel by the Lake of Neuchâtel and with access to a beautiful sandy beach has joined the TCS camping family in 2023. The idyllic TCS campsite is located at the foot of the Chaumont mountain in the tranquil village of Marin-Epagnier in the Three Lakes Region of western Switzerland. In 1858, prehistoric finds of a Celtic settlement were discovered at the present campsite location, which made the region famous beyond the country's borders. La Tène is not only considered historically significant, but also a place that exudes special energy. Here, relaxation is guaranteed.

Restaurant recommendations in La Tène
There are two recommended restaurants near the campsite. The Restaurant de la Tène on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel offers seasonal and regional cuisine. The large terrace has a cosy lounge with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Alps. Or would you rather fancy a pizza? The Maccarò is located in the Centre de Sports de la Tène, not far from the campsite. A typical Italian restaurant with a Neapolitan tradition.

Reservation
Book online here. (Please note: Our booking system is designed for overnight stays and not for day bookings. If you book the Octogone room, one night is therefore considered as one day. Please enter only 1 adult in the number of persons field. It does not matter how many people will be in the room.)
Send the completed rental contract together with a copy of the ID card and a copy of the liability insurance to cmpngltntcsch. This step must be followed in order for us to accept your reservation.
Shopping facilities include a small shop in La Tène just a few metres from the campsite, and MMM shopping centre in Marin, 10 minutes away.
A small harbour in the centre of the campsite offers two moorings for visiting boats; they cannot be reserved.
The CIS de Marin sports and leisure centre, with its tennis courts and miniature golf course, is close to the campsite.
The sandy beach can be accessed directly from the campsite. A stand-up paddle is available for hire.
There’s a beautiful playground near the campsite.
E-bikes can be hired for excursions to the lake, the Three Lakes Region or the Neuchâtel mountains.
Gas: The following bottles can be bought at the campsite: 5kg / 7.5kg / 10kg and 10.5kg (deposit per bottle: CHF 55 / 65. No deposit will be charged if an empty bottle is returned)

lake landscape around La Tène. The region offers numerous sporting, culinary
and cultural activities and countless opportunities for delightful walks or
cycle tours. Neuchâtel is also well worth a visit.
Every camping guest receives the ‘Neuchâtel Tourisme Card’ free of charge. It offers around 40 activities and free use of public transport throughout the canton of Neuchâtel during your stay. The guest card has been available digitally as a web app since 2025.
